Christmas In July Plarn Drive – Christmas In July Kids’ Crafts

Plarn is plastic yarn made of plastic bags. Sleep mats for the homeless can be made out of plarn by your local knitting and crochet groups, but first plarn must be made!

Each sleep mat takes 500-700 plastic bags and making plarn is an easy way to involve your kids into this community project.

Kids can help gather the bags, sort the bags, cut the bags and then make the plarn!
