This is a combination DIY craft project where I combined the Popcorn Snowmen and snowmen Hershey Bar ideas from Pinterest and modified the design by using college fleece and college logos along with winter and Christmas color fabric from the craft stash.
If you reuniting with your college friends this holiday season – these little guys will be a hit I promise…
I decided to make a village of college snowmen Hershey Bars and after checking prices of chocolate and popcorn, I found the best prices on amazon to purchase in bulk. I easily found the popcorn snack size candy bars on sale or with a coupon at our local stores, but the full size chocolate bars were a little pricey at the brick and mortar stores unless on sale.

Assembly Of Snowmen Hershey Bars
Choose your tool of preference. The hats can be made with the no sew glue gun technique or with a sewing machine using a quick and easy straight stitch.
A search of Youtube will reveal a few easy tutorials on assembling the hats for the Snowmen Hershey Bars and I promise even the least crafty will prevail. I used both methods of using a glue gun to make the hats and a sewing machine using the straight stitch to sew the fabric for the hats.
Snowmen Hershey Bar Printable Template
The snowman popcorn printable template I found on Etsy. Search popcorn wrapper on Etsy to find printables or there are free printables available by googling Hershey snowman. I modified and sized the template to the regular size and snack size Hershey bars.
For the popcorn wrapper snowmen I used the popcorn template as is and used college fleece to make the hat and scarf. Depending upon the fleece pattern of the team, I had to fussy cut the appropriate sections of the fleece fabric. This was the most time consuming part of the assembly.
I used the free online version of Sumopaint to resize and and paint the snowmen different colors and insert the logos.
So take advantage of the fleece sales and your favorite family member, friend or co worker will be the owner of their own team of snowmen …
