How To Make Recycled Reindeer Ornament
Materials
- Cardboard box or bubble envelope
- Colorful foam paper
- Googly eyes
- Cotton ball
- Red pom pom
- Invisible thread or scrap ribbon for hanger
- Reindeer template
Directions
- Search the internet for free reindeer templates. This is a good resource to find reindeers!
- The reindeer ornament can be any size desired.
- Cut out the reindeer head.
- Trace the reindeer on the cardboard or envelope.
- Cut out the reindeer.
- Choose a neutral color of foam paper for the ornament.
- Trace the reindeer head on the foam paper.
- Cut out the reindeer.
- Glue the foam paper reindeer to the cardboard or envelope.
- Choose a color for the hat of the reindeer.
- The hat can be drawn freehand to fit the head of the reindeer or the template can be used – use only the top of the template.
- Glue the hat onto the top of the reindeer, leave the antlers to stick out of the hat.
- Glue two googly eyes on the face of the reindeer. Find googly eye glue tips here!
- Glue cotton ball as the tassel of the hat.
- Glue a red pom pom on the tip of the reindeer nose.
- Make a hanger from invisible thread or ribbon.
- Glue to the back of the reindeer ornament.
Make A Recycled Reindeer Refrigerator Magnet
