Coating For The Peanut Butter Banana Krispy Sushi Rolls
Anything crunchy will work.
Rice Krispies add a nice light crunch but chopped nuts, mixed nuts, cheerioss will all work well.
Assembly Tip
Undeniably, the spreading the peanut butter on the banana and then rolling in the crunchy topping can be a bit messy.
However practice does perfect the assembly and each session will decrease the time needed and the aesthetics will improve too! The first assembly attempt was a little rough, but improved each time.
If desired, put the finished treat in the refrigerator to quick set the banana sushi. This is optional, but does help firm up each piece of sushi.
Chilling the sushi does make cutting the banana sushi much easier. Plastic gloves can also be used during assembly to make clean up a little quicker.
