This is a light recipe and the consistency is light as well. Switch out the ham for bacon or leave out the ham all together and use your favorite veggies instead – it all works!
Lower the fat content by using low fat cottage cheese to help make this a low fat quiche recipe. If you want to bump up the fat content then add an easy melting cheese on top of the quiche.
There is never enough cheese in any recipe! Ham and Broccoli Crustless quiche can be easily frozen and lends itself to freezing in individual servings.
Simply slice the quiche into the desired serving size and wrap with plastic wrap and then foil. The quiche can be warmed in the oven at 350 degrees. I do not recommend microwaving the quiche as it can become rubbery.
Adding A Crust
A crust can absolutely be added to make this a traditional quiche recipe.
Next time I plan to use my Hash Brown Quiche Crust for the crust which adds a few potatoes to the recipe, but in the crust. Yummy!
Favorite Leftover Ham Recipe
Spiral ham is a tradition for Easter and Christmas! Sprial hams can be quite large and the bonus is lots of yummy ham leftovers.
