Woot! The BEST Feta Dip Recipe

Affiliate links may be used in this post. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Read the full disclosure policy here

This is a wonderfully delicious and very easy to make dip which your guests will savor! Not only will your guests savor the dip you may have to call a foul as they crowd the dip dish edging each other out for more… it is that delish! The Best Feta Dip will not disappoint the feta cheese fans in your life or at your party.

But be forewarned this dip does taste…. like Feta! It is a nice way to introduce Feta cheese to those uninitiated, but if a guest does not like Feta it is always nice to put out a little verbal feta alert.

The Best Feta Dip Is Versatile

I’ve provided a version of 1/2 of the recipe below as a little Feta can go along way and this portion is a great trial portion if you have never made the dip before. You can experiment with the amount of lemon zest and juice for your palate as feta and lemon are strong flavors. I’ve used oregano, dill or parsley as garnish – but only one!

The Best Feta dip recipe! Absolutely yummy and addictive!

Did I mention versatile? Pita chips, toasted crackers and veggie all pair fabulously with this dip. The feta cheese lovers in your life will profusely thank you and ask for the recipe.

How To Make Feta Cheese Dip

INGREDIENTS

6 ounce feta cheese ( I use crumbled feta)

4 ounce of softened cream cheese

1/4 cup Greek or regular plain yogurt

1/8 cup good quality  Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) or Virgin Olive Oil

1 clove minced garlic

A smidge of lemon zest

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Garnish (optional) oregano or dill or parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend the feta cheese, cream cheese and yogurt to a whipped and smooth consistency. Use whichever tool your own – food processor, blender, electric mixer or hand mixer.
  2. Add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and a smidge of lemon zest.
  3. Put dip into a decorative dip dish and add a spritz of olive oil and herb of your choice for a topping.

Enjoy!

I love this idea. I’m goiong to Flip it for easy reference. I’m sure I’d enjoy using this with something I can get at Trader Joe’s to dip in it.
