Why Everyone Needs A Slime Tire Inflator

Doesn’t everyone have one problem child tire?

The tire which for some unforeseen reason –  just like the dryer which eats lone socks –  tends to lose air pressure quicker than its’ other three comrades?

I began investigating tire inflators a few years ago when the gas stations began charging for air. Air! Really! I was not amused.

The Slime 40022 12-Volt Digital Tire Inflator is your answer to the easy way to inflate tires. It was a purchase I have never regretted and in fact was so pleased with the machine that additional machines were purchased for the other family vehicles.

Easy to use. Great practical gift for any age. Review of the Slime Tire Inflator.

Why I Like The Slime 40022

  • Portable
  • Easy To Use
  • Affordable
  • Tire Gauge Included
  • Lighter Friendly
  • Small and easy to store
  • Auto tire pressure gauge
  • Inflate Right Technology

Easy To Use With Digital Readout

As always I recommend the directions are read prior to operating the unit. However if you can turn the car on I’m sure you can operate the Slime. The digital read out is easy to read and the buttons are self explanatory.

After determining the proper PSI for your tires you preset the desired PSI into the Slime. When you connect the Slime to your tire the digital readout will record the current pressure. Activate the Slime and the Right Inflate Technology will then take over after activation as the tire will fill to the desired PSI and the Slime will then automatically shut off.

Noise And Inflation Time

I have found the amount of time it takes to inflate the tires does depend upon the tire size and how much air the tire needs. Less air, smaller tire equals less inflation time.

The Slime is should not be compared to the professional air compressor at the gas station. As a point of comparison the Slime is less noisy than a vacuum or shop vac. You do not have to attend the Slime while it is inflating the tire due to the Right Inflate Technology.

Auto Tire Pressure Gauge

One of the most convenient features of the Slime 40222 is the auto tire pressure gauge. When you the Slime 40022 is connected the digital screen relays the current tire pressure. No more searching in the glove compartment for the tire gauge.  The auto tire pressure gauge not only tells you the current pressure but once preset the tire will inflate to the desired pressure with the click on one button.
If you live in a state with our friend the polar vortex I think you will relate that filling the tires in -10 degrees is no fun. Fumbling with heavy gloves, dressed up like the Michelin man fiddling with the tire gauge, the hose, the air compressor for inflation is all a memory with the Slime 40022.
I’d much prefer to be sheltered in the garage to fill the tires at my convenience in the middle of winter.

Peace Of Mind With The Slime 40022

This is an excellent machine to introduce new drivers to as part of their car maintenance responsibilities. The Slime is portable with its’ small size easily fitting into the trunk or behind the seats. The Slime gives every driver the peace of mind and an automatic tire inflator should be a priority in the car emergency kit.

This is sooo much easier! I have the emergency can of inflator too, but the Slime is indispensable.

I have used one of these in the past. They inflate a tire really slow. Plus teh motor was loud. However, it did do the job.

Yes, the portable air compressors are slower than a gas station pump, but so much more convenient in my area.
