Who doesn’t love a good ole fashioned brownie? Followed by why do my homemade brownies never taste as good as the boxed. That is the antithesis of homemade baking versus baking from a box isn’t it?!
However there are times one must face baking reality and this brownie mix is my favorite go to brownie mix. I have tried quite a few boxed brownie mixes amongst my brownie mix travels and crown Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix the best.

Flexible. You can vary the consistency to cake like or fudge like depending upon the number of eggs. I happen to be a fudgey cake brownie consistency person.
Easy. The ingredients to add to the mix are always on hand: eggs, water, mix and oil.
Fool proof. The Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix has 100% reliability anytime of the year in any season.
Versatility. After choosing a cake of fudgy consistency the recipe can adapt to a dark or clear baking dish and three sizes of baking dish to choose. Baking directions are clear for whichever type or size of baking dish. I’ve even used an odd sized baking dish and absolutely no problem with the finished brownie.
Taste. As evidenced by the always empty plate whether it be at a potluck, social event or the kitchen counter – never a crumb is left.
Use parchment paper to line the baking dish.
Use enough parchment paper for a 2-3 inch overhang to use as handles to
lift the brownies out of the dish for easy cutting.
