I used the no bake store bought Rice Krispies (.78 ounce per bar,) but you can definitely make homemade Rice Krispies treats if desired to make the Lollipops.

- Prepare your assembly line if making more than a few Valentine’s Day Rice Krispies Pops.
- Unwrap your Rice Krispie Treat Bars.
- Line the bars on a cutting board.
- Cut your rice krispie treats into squares. It is easier to shape the rice krispies heart from a square shape.
- Cut a V at the bottom of the square.
- Cut a small V at the top of the square, in the middle.
- Cut two small diagonal slice off each top corner.
- Use your fingers (I use my trusty disposable gloves for cooking) to mold the heart shape.
- Simply press in each top corner to round the corner.
- Insert the popsicle or craft stick into the center of the heart … gently!
How To Decorate Valentine’s Day Rice Krispies Lollipops
Anything goes with decorating your popsicles or leave the popsicles plain !
I use my favorite version of royal icing (without egg whites) which dries so nicely or use candy melts to dip the lollipops. I always put the decorated hearts in the refrigerator to speed the setting along.
The Lollipops can also be stored in the refrigerator.
