Kitchen tools in a jar.

How many ways can you cook those low oxalate staples like cauliflower, watermelon and zucchini! This is where the low oxalate kitchen gadgets enter the kitchen to save time and even make low oxalate diets just a little more fun!

I’ve compiled my favorite list of the Best Low Oxalate Kitchen Gadgets that have become an integral part of my kitchen especially when testing new low oxalate recipes.

The Essential Low Oxalate Kitchen Gadgets For 2019

The Ricer

This is a must have kitchen gadget. Absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite kitchen gadget to make creamy, melt in your mouth mashed cauliflower.  The ricer!

(Also fabulous for mashed potatoes which are a treat in small portions on a low oxalate menu, but your family will love your mashed potatoes!)

MISTO

Loving the Misto to evenly spritz olive oil! Everyone needs at least one or two!

Environmentally friendly. So easy to bake or air fry foods with the Misto to add a nice crunch.

Infuser Water Bottles and Pitcher

You have heard it a million times by now! Water is your friend and that means alot of water especially on a kidney friendly diet.

Love the variety of the water infuser bottles so each bottle can be infused with a different fruit.

Infusing water with fruit helps make water just a little less boring and more palatable for those not a fan of water.

Raise your glass if the only way you can tolerate drinking water is with a very cold temperature. This water infuser pitcher has a very handy feature – it is designed to fit in the refrigerator door. Space saver!!!

So sleek and so well designed.

Air Fryer

This is the answer to missing fried food! Pair this with the Misto to fry food the healthy way with just a little olive oil and achieve the crunchy texture so loved and missed!

Flour Grinder

Finding low oxalate flours to bake with on a low oxalate diet is a challenge! This is the tool to help turn oats into oat flour without breaking your elbow!

Watermelon Keg

Who said a low oxalate drink can’t also be a whole lot of fun! Perfect for the warm weather parties and barbecues and quite a conversational centerpiece.

The Spurtle

Not familiar with the spurtle? The spurtle is a uniquely shaped tool which originated from Scotland to stir oatmeal.

Love this tool for all things whipped, mashed or stirred.

Spiralizer Vegetable Slicer

Oddles and oodles of zoodles in minutes! Turn your low oxalate vegetable in spirals the easy way!

Narrow Ice Stick Cubes

This falls under the ‘why didn’t I think of that’? The quick way to cool down a bottled beverage or keep the beverage cool. Love this for the commute to work and summer sports.

Bottle Cleaning Bean Sponge

The nifty and quick way to clean water bottles. These little bean shaped sponges reach all the corners and crevices.

Coconut Oil

It is just a fact! Low oxalate cooks use alot of coconut oil… Gift a low oxalate cook with coconut oil and this practical gift will be appreciated!

I call coconut oil a gadget as it is one of the benefits of low oxalate cooking – a healthy oil which is so incredibly versatile.

Dasha Masha 2X

Mashed cauliflower has never been so easy! Pair this low oxalate gadget with the Ricer to make creamy and delicious mashed vegetables.

No need to irritate an elbow trying to mash cauliflower!
