My favorite Valentine’s Day cookies! And a Valentine’s Day cookie hack (after the holiday baking season, I am ready for an easy holiday no bake Valentines’ Day cookie!) Very easy to make no bake Valentine’s Day cookies perfect to make for the classroom or holiday party.
In a perfect world, I’d be happily ingredient shopping, merrily making and lovingly baking with of course a well worn family gingerbread cookie recipe to make these Valentine’s Day Gingerbread Cookies. Then there is reality.
Sometimes time is at such a premium that you have to call in the easy Valentine snack or Valentine’s Day hack (and use up the extra package of gingerbread cookies from Christmas!) And so the idea for the Valentine Hack for Valentine’s Day Gingerbread Cookies was born.
Three store bought ingredients and you are good to go!
How To Make Valentine’s Day Gingerbread Cookies
Ingredients
Pepperidge Farm Home Style Gingerman cookies
Valentine decorative hearts (large hearts)
Store bought frosting or homemade cookie icing
Directions
- I’d say self explanatory. Buy, unpackage, icing and decorate!
- But … remove cookies from bag (opening the bag is the most time consuming part!)
- Make your (my favorite!) cookie icing or purchase store bought frosting.
- Dot icing on cookie for desired heart placement. If desired use a cookie decorating bag to make the dot.
- Decorating Tip! Use a thicker icing as you are essentially gluing the large hearts onto the cookie.
- Attach heart (s) by pressing gently onto the icing dots.
- Let the icing set.

It is winter and Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! But also lurking around the house, kitchen and cupboard is leftover Christmas candy.
Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to use the leftover Christmas candy to make Valentine’s Day crafts and snacks! Come along my journey through the leftover Christmas candy…
Valentine’s Day Hershey Kisses Tree
One of the benefits of the red, white, silver of Valentine’s Day candy is the colors mimic Christmas! Yeah!
Head to the dollar store or your craft stash to find a styrofoam cone and transform the cone into a Hershey Kisses Tree. Learn how here and this is a very easy Valentine’s Day craft.
Valentine’s Day Fudge Hearts
Fudge is not just for the Christmas holidays! Make a Fantasy Fudge Valentine’s Day heart for your favorite Valentine. My absolute favorite and absolute go to recipe is the Original Fantasy Fudge recipe (not that imposter!).
Does a box of candy canes keep following you around the house? They are stealthy! What to do with the candy canes? Make a crushed candy cane topping for your Valentine Fudge Heart.
This adds a dash of peppermint to the melt in your mouth creamy fudge and is delicious!
