My Favorite Ultrasonic Humidifier: PureGuardian H920BL

Tis the season for allergies and dry air. Dry air aggravates many minor, yet chronic conditions which makes life a little less bearable and makes the winter a little less bearable. Enter my new favorite humidifier – the Ultrasonic Humidifier which is a feature packed table top humidifier.

The last few years I have been trying various humidifiers to help increase the humidity in our rooms. While the furnace has its’ own humidifier, a little extra help was needed particularly for the bedroom. I had difficulty finding a humidifier that was quiet, easy to fill and unobtrusive.

But this year I found the PureGuardian H920BL Ultrasonic Table Top Humidifier and could not be happier with its’ performance. This is an item I would actually pay more for, but shhh, don’t tell the manufacturer! With over 1,100 positive reviews I agree with the reviewers this is a must have to make life more humid and more comfy!

The H920BL is a cool mist humidifier designed for a small room, bedroom or office. In the past the humidifiers I purchased worked adequate, but the humidifiers were difficult to fill, hard to clean and most were lighted excessively for the bedroom.

Many humidifiers work great IF you want a nightlight plus humidifier versus a humidifier for those who don’t want extra light in the bedroom at night. For sleepers who appreciate a very dark room or are super sensitive to lights in the bedroom the Ultrasonic does not emit an excessive amount of bright light.

 Positive Features Of The H920BL Ultrasonic Humidifier

• Whisper quiet. The humidifier is truly whisper quiet. I have the humidifier one foot from the headboard and you do not know it is there.
• Speed and Air flow. There are two settings low and high and each produces a robust flow of cool mist air.
• Lights. If you are bothered by light at night, this is a very unobtrusive design. The light setting can be on or off for each speed selected. If the on option is chosen, a very soft blue light is emitted.

Humidifier Without White Dust

One of the side effects of many humidifiers is the white dust left behind after operating. I was less than thrilled with the white dust which occurred even when using distilled water and frankly adding one more task to the clean up list I really was not happy about. The Ultrasonic PureGuardian does not leave white dust! A favorite feature to be sure.

Friendly For The Night Owl

Night owls will appreciate the ability the humidifier does not light up the room. Past humidifiers have acted more like a huge night light: which is fine if that is your desire. Light sensitive sleepers will truly appreciate the design of the lighting in this humidifier.

Ease Of Filling

Due to the beaker design, it is extremely easy to fill the tank. The beaker lifts off and with a capacity of .21 gallons, the beaker fits easily under the faucet to fill. Those with no upper body strength will not have a problem filling this humidifier.

Longevity

The manufacturer states this is a 10 hour humidifier depending upon the air flow selected and the humidity existing in your room. I agree that in our bedroom on the low setting the humidifier runs close to 10 hours.

I highly recommend this humidifier (and I have tried more than a few). The H920BL Ultrasonic Humidifier delivers what is promised for an affordable price and that is a delight to discover.

Looking For A Tiny Portable Humidifier?

I am 2 for 2 with humidifier purchases this year. Am not sure this offsets the various humidifiers I have purchased through the years which for one reason or another were not keepers.
