Sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you feel the need to use up items in your craft stash. And what the heck while I am using the craft stash why not make up your own name for the creation? Welcome and hello to the Googlyween!
This is cute little craft for your kids to help assemble. There is no right or wrong way, no complex instructions and no set design. The imagination can rule as to how the googly eyes magically transform themselves into a Halloween centerpiece.
Affordable? You bet. I supplemented my craft stash with a trip to the dollar store and farmers market for a few spooky gourds.
Googlyween Materials
Foam cone in the size of your choice, six inch cone is my preference
Assorted sizes of self adhesive googly eyes
Assorted gourds optional
Party favor kids sunglasses
Googlyween Instructions
Patience is a virtue when assembling the Googlyween! Or better yet, assign the job of decorating your Googlyween decoration to a very task minded child. Peeling off the sticky backing of the self adhesive googly eyes can be a bit tedious. But this is the perfect task to keep a busy minded child very very busy or perfect to assemble when binge watching your favorite television series.

Decorate With The Googlyween As The Centerpiece
Depending upon the size of foam cone used as the base you can then decorate around the Googlyween to create your own centerpiece or Halloween decoration. I love the mini gourds in the Fall with their fun colors and unique sizes so I added a few gourds to the mix with the googly eyes.
I found party favor kids sunglasses at the dollar store and then added a few googly eyes for good measure. Anything goes and use your imagination to decorate with and around the Googlyween for your home of Halloween party. The Googlyween makes a great addition to any Halloween themed table or meal.
Where To Buy Googly Eyes AKA Wiggly Eyes
The obvious question for making the Googlyween is, “How many googly eyes do I need?” The short answer is … “alot”! It depends on how big the foam cone is and what size googly eyes you purchase or have on hand. I suggest a large multi pack for a six inch foam cone.
Happy Halloween! or should I say Happy Googlyween?
