Happiness Is … Enjoying the heat vent! Ah that one can be so easily pleased! I am adding the heat vent to my list of “free” dog toys. Well free except of course we have to pay for the heat!
My dog aka ‘The Fluff’ (name changed to protect the innocent?) loves to park himself in front of the heat vent on chilly mornings. Actually we facetiously call him The Fluff as he is not a wash and wear furball. He requires grooming and the hair dryer to shine in his fluffiness. However and I know and I know the other Fluff owners in the North can relate that spring equals rain which equals a very unfluffy Fluff … but I digress.
I thought The Fluff deserves his own round up of posts as I have used him for a few photo ops as he has willingly tested out a few dog products for me and him of course.

The Best Dog Toys Are Free!
Left to his own devices which of course means, “Hey are you ignoring me?” The Fluff will do a search and seizure throughout the house for an household item which he deems a toy. In the Best Dog Toys Are Free the Fluff has utilized the iphone case (that required a trip to the vet for safety check), wrapping paper, the very fun USPS boxes and the all time messy but favorite styrofoam.
For The Library: Favorite Dog Book Of The Year
I loved the book The Secret Language Of Dogs. Practical and useful by a dog trainer for real people, real dog owners. Who says an experienced dog owner can’t learn new tricks? I guarantee you will. Did you know a dog is left pawed or right pawed, left tail wag or right tail wag – Find out what in all means in The Secret Language Of Dogs by Victoria Stilwell.
Gifts For Night Dog Walkers
If you live in Daylight Savings Time then you know that hours for dog walking after work in daylight are severely limited. If you are a morning person you find the same dilemma. Lots of dark dog walking hours we must endure throughout the winter months.
Of course the Lighted Dog Collar is number one on the list of my must haves for Night Dog Walking. The headlight attach to your head flashlight is very very handy. I didn’t say stylish … but hey, who cares – it is dark out. Fashion aside it is very useful to have a hands free source of light for night dog walking.
The Practical: Healthy Dog Treats
We all need a few reminders now and then as to what foods we eat that dogs should not eat! Ever chase a piece of chocolate skipping across the floor to try and beat your dog from what he thinks is a treasured prize but his digestive system would not? Enjoy a few suggestions for Safe And Healthy Dog Treats .
I hope these products tested by The Fluff with a little help from his favorite owner help your dog live a healthy lifestyle and of course, don’t forget to keep those heat vents open!
