What do Miss P and the toy terrier who jumped into the prop box and Bob Schieffer of Face the Nation have in common?
They are a dog or love dogs or love beagles and the Westminster Dog Show.
If you are a furball owner, well I think the majority of us furball owners know that our furry loved ones are not dog show material. Which is why I loved the video of the toy terrier who jumped into the prop box while walking the walk at the Westminster dog show. The terrier just popped in the prop box, peeked out and was momentarily oblivious to the dog show part.
This would be what I’d envision my dog doing at a dog show. Kinda following the lead, not quite and throwing its’ own twist into the mix.
Miss P The Best In Show Beagle
Miss P is the Westminster Best In Show 2015. What a beautiful beagle.
Miss P reminds me of my childhood friend whose family always had a beagle. They were a very busy family with 8 children so I think just for ease and less confusion, each Beagle was named of course, Snoopy. There were a few Snoopys through the years and each of course had their own personality. Now when we reminisce we always hear about Snoopy (of course I’m never sure which Snoopy was which exactly.)
Which brings us to how did Miss P make an appearance on Bob Schieffer’s Face The Nation. The national CBS Sunday news program. Mr. Schieffer relayed that Miss P brought back many lovely memories of the three Beagles his family has been fortunate to be owned by. Miss P has been making the media and public relations rounds this week after her win and has now inspired a beagle feature on Face The Nation. Always an ambassador Miss P, Uno and Snoopy are for the breed.
Beagles are consistently in the top 10 of Americas most popular breeds.
One Beagle FAQ:
Why are their noses always to the ground? Beagles have over 220 million! scent receptors which makes a beagle an excellent hunting dog.
