What Are Rice Cakes
I am fairly new to the rice cake and am wondering why I waited so long to try! Which brings the question of what exactly is a rice cake? Rice cakes are pounded rice which now come in a myriad of different shapes and sizes. Rice cakes were originally marketed as a diet snack in the 1980’s and 1990’s but have become apart of the mainstream for those seeking healthy treats. Tan rice cakes are usually made with brown rice while white rice cakes are made with white flour.
